Pound Bend in Warrandyte is a traditional Aboriginal living and gathering place that was the site of the last ever Kulin Nation corroboree in March 1852. At the southern end of the park, where the Pound Bend Tunnel is located, is an interpretive signage trail that was launched in 2014.

Reconciliation Manningham acknowledges the Woiwurrung language people of the Kulin Federation as the traditional custodians and curators of the Yarra Valley Estate, the land we now all share.

We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and take pride as Australians, in sharing this heritage of the world’s oldest living culture.
